White Nerines

“Dogwoods on Tour”
25 years ago, as a young newly married couple, Craig and I visited Yosemite National Park and saw an incredible spring display of white flowering Dogwoods.  I asked the local park workers what the incredible flowers were and determined to find out if these grew in NZ when I got home.  I was delighted to find that we had a large collection of Dogwoods available in NZ and we set out to begin creating a collection of different varieties.  This pink flowering dogwood “cornus florida rubra” is one of the most asked about trees in our garden.  If you visit when the dogwoods are flowering you will be in for a treat.  Ask us to point out the double white flowering set that we recently secured from a Rotorua grower.
