The Gardens Of The Hurunui

The Hurunui Gardens are made up of a passionate group of gardeners who have teamed up together to offer this exciting tour.  All these gardens have to survive and thrive in extreme weather conditions, dry hot summers and freezing cold winters.  All gardens on the tour are challenged by the low rainfall of the region but each garden has a gardener with a passion and sheer determination to enjoy beauty no matter what the challenging conditions are.

The hard work and dedication of the owners has to be seen to be appreciated. Outstanding beauty in the plants that nature has provided us, coupled with the creativity, hard work, and dedication of the garden owners is now yours to come and enjoy. Please read the individual garden’s information and email us with any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon.
